Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, consulting and training system users;
  • Analyzing bug reports, solving problem requests and managing instructions and documentation;
  • Development, programing;
  • Setup and maintenance of IT General Controls, user rights administration.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in Computer Science or finance;
  • A proven track record in development and support of MS Dynamics Ax;
  • Strong understanding of standard MS Dynamics Ax functionality including Financial, Warehouse, HR Management modules;
  • SQL knowledge;
  • Fluent Latvian, Russian and English language skills;
  • Business oriented personality with good analytical and problem solving skills;
  • The ability to perform and prioritize various tasks;
  • The ability to be independent and proactive;
  • Positive and supportive personality.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and queries in support of application development;
  • Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design;
  • Review and optimise existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and queries;
  • Convert existing embedded SQL code into stored procedures;
  • Develop custom scripts to automate various database management processes;
  • Occasionally write single-time reports on demand;
  • Define and review best practice standards for data integrity;
  • Develop and monitor various ETL jobs for our Data Warehouse.

Skills & Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of professional work experience;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • Strong written and verbal English communications skills;
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is considered a plus.

Qualification:

  • Strong experience in MySQL, procedures, functions, triggers, views and queries;
  • Working knowledge of building/maintaining Data Warehouse solutions;
  • Knowledge and experience with various db migration projects is considered a plus.

  • Knowledge of front end pitfalls is necessary (including common bugs on tablets/phones);
  • SASS, including loops and maps;
  • Ability to organize code wisely for adaptive websites;
  • Good knowledge of css optimizations.

Javascript/jQuery

  • Ajax
  • Ability to comment your code (boring, but useful);
  • Understandable and reusable components;
  • Ability not to fall into infinite loop of facepalms regarding variable types in javascript;
  • Good knowledge of js/jQuery optimizations (memory leaks, slow/fast selectors);
  • Good knowledge of asynchronous javascript pain;
  • Basics of object-oriented programming patterns.

Nice-to-have:

  • Useful habits of programming in big projects;
  • Stable knowledge of memory-eating stuff in Angular;
  • Angular-resource, ui-router;
  • Ability to explain what is $digest cycle.
